  • Offer more than just a signing session. On their schedule are panels, mixers, parties, and entertainment 

  • Have romance authors attending that are bestsellers in their genres

  • Know how to handle crowd control and popular authors so you don’t spend all your time during the signing session in line 

  • Take place in cities that provide an opportunity to be a tourist before or after the convention
